So, now it’s out! Not  a year has passed since the Nikon D600 is on the shelves and already there is a successor.
Here, the changes to the old model:

  • Faster continuous shooting up to 6 frames per second, instead of the previous 5.5 frames / sec.
  • New shooting mode for quiet continous shooting, but with a limited frame rate at 3 frames / sec.
  • New shutter unit with a diagnosis system.

No major changes to the D610, but probably necessary in order to eliminate the problems encountered in some models with dirty sensors.
I hope Nikon has better luck with this version.
